How To Friend People

I was wondering how to friend people here, people have befriended me and I have no idea how to friend them back, thank you for your help in this matter and thank you for all the work you've done to make AS a safe haven for survivors, love teleah

If you mouse over someone's screen name a little picture icon of a person is below their information and it allows you to "add friend". You can also go to someone's profile and in the middle to upper/center part of the screen there are three buttons, "add me as a friend", "send me a message" or "find content". So if you want to add someone as a friend, just hit the "add me as a friend" button.
