Second Time Around....

all,

I have noticed several "old" names from the past year or so have
re-introduced themselves now that we all find ourselves without our original
profiles. So I figured I would again rejoin the fray and introduce myself
again.

I am Bambi, and have been on the AS boards for just over a year. I was abused as
a child and was drug-raped as an adult nine years ago. I spent most of my life
in denial and pushing away childhood memories. For months I was both drawn to
and repelled from After Silence. Eventually I joined and it has been one of the
best things I have ever done for myself. It has been difficult and challenging
year since joining but it has also brought immense comfort and healing. I have
been blessed to have developed some much valued friendships and have seen life
from many new perspectives.

To all the members I have already met and to all new members I say hello and wish
you all comfort and healing. My inbox is open to all.

You are right it is a good idea to re-introduce ourselves. I am still feeling a little strange but I am sure it will pass. I have seen several names I recognise. I hope others find their way back I am concerned for a few I have not seen yet. Hope everyone is okay.

I am glad to see you back!!! This place, has been a lifesaver and I agree, I have formed some truly wonderful and dear friendships here!! This place may have went down, and people may change (or we start to reconnect with those we have already known and cared about), but we get to be part of building it back! Only better!!!!!
