Hey, everyone, I'm Amma. I've been here a few days now, checking things out, and I've finally gotten up the nerve to post an intro...

I was physically, emotionally, and sexually abused by my father for most of my childhood...A lot of the sexual abuse, I don't remember, but it's still had a huge impact on me. I've spent most of my life trying to cover it up and pretend it didn't happen....But, I decided not to do that anymore--I've finally started opening up about things, so I can heal.

Hoping to find some support and help on the boards here...
