Hi,

I'm 21 years old and it's been only a few weeks over a year since it happened.

I told my boyfriend of almost a year about six months ago, my best friend a couple of weeks ago, and my mother just this weekend.

I only just started acknowledging it after I told the friend, and since then it's been like a flood of emotions that I'm not sure what to do with.

I figured this would be a good place to start.

Wow, you all have made me feel so welcome! I was (and still am) pretty nervous about posting, but I seriously feel like this forum is going to be an amazing source of support for me.

I already feel comforted knowing I have somewhere to go to with my struggles where there are people who have been through or are going through a similar struggle.

I've started looking around the message boards and was so impressed by the amount of relevant topics that I know will be a great help and that I hope I can contribute to.
