Not Sure What To Do...

I don't really know what I am doing here. My mom told me to find a forum to help myself get over what happened and now I don't really know what to do. I'm here, I created a name and I feel completely stupid.

I know I am not the only one who goes through this. I'm a good kid and I never imagined that this would ever happen to me. I never thought I would be a victim of rape and here I am looking for help..

That was me too, the good kid. When i posted my story on this forum, i titled it "It Wont Happen To Me", because that was how i felt before it happened. It kinda messed with my head and i stopped being the good kid for a long time, i hope that you avoid that common downturn.

Hi DeeJay you are right you are not alone although it feels that way often. As far as getting over it in my opinion we don't get over it we learn to cope with it and deal with it in healthier ways. Hold on tight you are in for a bumpy ride but make sure you reach out to others to help steady you.
