July first is one of the most important dates of my life, because that is the day I designated as one to celebrate. Every time that date passes by, it is another year away from what has happened.

My name is Andi, and I am a survivor. Whenever I bring up the past I tell people I am a survivor, not a victim. The path to healing has not been an easy one for me, but it has not been one I regret taking.

I have become closer to God and hold no regrets. I feel close to the end of my healing, and feel that being here is another step closer.
