Can One Of The Mods Give Us A More Detailed Description Of The Take To The Sky Forum

Recommended Posts

Dear friends,

Per your lovely suggestions, we have decided to add a new forum: Take to the Sky. This forum was created for survivors who are further along in their healing journey.

The forum name stems from the song by Tori Amos of the same title, which speaks of surviving, soaring and thriving.

We hope this forum will be beneficial to everyone

The above is the topic info from Lindy.

It is really a forum for posting how far you have come in your healing - to give hope and inspiration to those who are struggling and want to see and know that there is a light at the end of the tunnel

I hope that helps

thank you, karen. :flowers: i think the description posted in that forum is not really clear though, hence the confusion.

here's what i understand from your reply, please correct me if i'm wrong:

it is for positive topics that we feel reflect our progress / achievements in healing?

it is not for discussing problems that people who have been healing for a long time still have?

and it is not for encouraging others directly and giving healing tips? (considering which posts have been moved)

just asking to clarify.

I would agree with what you said riana - though I can see there might be an overlap with the healing tips and inspiration forum - which I can understand can be confusing

Thanks so much.]

I never heard of the song, nor the writer.

But now I have a better understanding of the forum.
