Like everyone else here I am here because I feel so alone and helpless. It has been many years since I was last abused but the pain is so great right now. I am hoping to find someone or a couple of people who would be interested in being here for each other. I am 24 years old and am told I have so much going for me. If only I could see myself through the eyes of everyone else and not through my own. There is not a second of any day that I am not affected by what he did to me. I am not okay but someday I hope that I will be okay. I understand healing takes time but it has been many years and I am still searching for my pure whole heart. Life is not always fair and I have really learned that first hand as a child. Sorry if my introduction is negative in any way but I would be lying to you all if I told you I am happy to be here. I am happy I found this site though as it looks helpful. I am also trying to stay strong and not SI anymore, it has been 2 years since I last found that relief. Feel free to message me.

I am just joining this site as well and know the pain you have. I will share my story in the appropriate place, but know we are all here for the same reasons. Our stories may differ, but the pains are real and felt by all. Pray you get the help, love, and support you need. I am having my 5th counseling session tomorrow. Abuse happened 30 years ago, but a good Christian friend kept encouraging the therapeutic and much needed affects of therapy and he was right. Please consider.
