Hello everyone.

I am new here.

I have spent almost 20 years in the Silence and it's now become too much to carry (despite a 2 year long therapy).

I am finally accepting that I am a survivor of sexual abuse, both in my childhood and adult life.

I have finally made the decision to break the silence, in the safety of my therapy first, now in this forum, and hopefully to my family and loved ones soon.

This is a very big step for me. I never realised the effect this would have on me. To say the words. Without flowers, excuses or disguises. To just say the words.

I am a survivor and I am now I can see that I am not alone.

I hope to find the support I need to finally move on.

I can also say on this journey that I am a survivor. I'm glad you are reaching out, and I know it is a huge step. A couple of years ago I did the same, and trust me I know how much courage you need.

We are all here right with you, and we will support you. You can lean on as much or as little as you want, and we can do this as fast or as slow as you want. Just know that here every single word of yours is heard.
