I'm just glad to have found a place where I don't feel alone. I feel that people can understand where I'm coming from and I don't have to be afraid or ashamed of my circumstances.

I want to give a hearty hello and welcome to all. If anyone wasn't to talk through email feel free to contact me we can expand the area of support and acceptance. I am a counselor by profession, but here I can just be a woman surviving. I don't feel like a survivor as for me this is a daily continual struggle and therefore I'm surviving. Thank you so much. I really appreciate that. I haven't told my story to anyone outside of the AS forum, but some close friends. I got mixed results. But here on AS I got the same show of love and encouragement.
