KsLh
Hi, I am here as a suggestion from my oldest daughter. I am 43 and just in the last year started having issues dealing with the abuse I endured as a child. I am contemplating posting my story where appropriate. I know I am not alone but am totally confused as to why now I am having such a difficult time. Link to post
aliejane
Hi and Welcome to AS. I am really glad you found us although i am sorry that you needed to. I just wanted to let you know that you are not alone in feeling this way - i am 37 and managed to stay in denial about the terrible abuse i went through as a child until about 3 years ago when suddenly everything came to the surface and new memories started to come to me and my world fell apart. I am only just starting this healing journey but AS is a great place to be for support and care from people who really understand. Take gentle care. Best Wishes. Alie.x Link to post
Moreta
Hiya, I'm sorry for whatever you suffered. It's a good place here. Feel safe and loved. When you feel ready (if you do), then you will feel up to talking about your story. When that time comes let me know. Am here for you too. Give your daughter a hug for me - she sounds super.
