Hello, it's me! I think I got my cart before my horse, and posted My Story in the "My Story" thread before I introduced myself.

I was raped by an acquaintance at age 13. I have never confronted him, neither did I tell anyone for 13 years after it happened. Today, at nearly 50 years old, I want to get in his face and tell him about it. I'm fighting this urge, and it is taking every ounce of strength I have to do so! I know that he has never felt the same shame for what he did as I felt for it, and I know it was not my fault. Sadly, I believe that there is at least one other woman I know that he did the same thing to. I don't have the courage to ask her.

Anyway, hello to all and I am happy to have found this wonderful place!
