I Don't Even Really Know. :/

Well, under a year ago my father had sexually abused me. I told my mom i was fine and i was lying. I just don't understand and maybe it's my age but i just don't understand it. We were so close and i loved him with all of my heart. Then he turns around and does this? I just came here looking for someone to talk to. By the way i' m a guy, as to why this is so embarrassing to me.

thanks ;) but i mean it is embarrassing because i think all the stories are the different sex. I mean it's even more embarrassing that it's my dad you know?

I think there's a board entirely for men, actually, but I'm also a newbie here so I haven't looked at everything yet. You'll find others like you, I'm sure, and i don't think you need to feel embarrassed at all that it's your dad. If you look around, you'll see that that story is common, and all too often it's much more painful than embarrassing.
