Hello to all. I haven't spent much time on this site or anyother like it. But I must say I am glad that it is here to help people and to help me. Thank you to all who have made this site possible.

I am 26yrs old, but swore I wouldn't ever get any older than 25 :blush:. I am in the first stages of the healing process. I haven't really ever talked much about the circumstances that brought me to this site. And to be honest I am a little nervous because I know it's going to be hard and I know some things may come to mind that I never knew were there, memories that I have buried so deep that I "forgot". But I think its time. I am here for a reason. I am ready to start this journey to heal.

I really wish that I had this site available to me when I was 26 (and much earlier). I could really have used the support!

That was before the internet, though. Now I can read about people who have gone through what I have!

There are so many details that I read about that mirror my life, and that helps me go further than I have ever gone before (no reference to Star Trek intended).

Seriously, this is just fantastic for helping me feel like I am not a freak. I wish so much that I'd had this kind of connection years ago, but I am so happy to have it now, at least.
