My First Post

Hello I have only just registered, and I am not really sure what I am doing here. I have not shared my past with anyone. I find myself wondering what led me to this site. And as I often do I have overanalyzed. So I guess I will just say that for the moment I am looking for people who understand me. Hopefully as I get to know some of you I may get a better understanding of myself. I am looking forward to making good friends. I also wanted to say how grateful I am that their are people out their who are willing to take the time to make a site like this, where you can feel safe and not so alone, so thankyou to everyone involved. And to all the members Take Care.

I'm glad you've joined After Silence. I can totally relate to what you've said, and hope you are able to recognize how many of us have reacted in similar ways to this sort of trauma. You're not alone, and much of the confusion, fears, and insecurities you've felt are shared by many others here.
