Helo,I am Colleen and a 29 year old rape survivior.I was raped last week and a little shocked.I have lots of support behind me.My mom and step dad Ron,My husband Frank,step sons Frank Jr. and Reese,my friends and my sister in laws Patti and Angie have been behind me with their support which has helped a lot.My mom and step dad Ron know I am a very tough woman that will pul through this.I have taught my daughters,8 year old Abigail and 6 year old Zoey to report any sex crime to me or to my husband if this ever happens to them.The good news is my rapist is behind bars,was caught Monday afternoon.My rapist's mom did the right thing,come forward turning her son in and coperate with police.My rapist is only 17 years old and has been convicted of molesting a 7 year old girl when he was 13 years old,did not get much for a sentence.There are two other women he did this to and we became best friends supporting each other.

Thanks and I am coping very slowly what happened to me.My mom was glad I did talk to my daughters to report a sex crime if it ever happens to them to my husband or I.

My husband Frank still loves me and it never hurt our relationship.Luckily my step sons, 15 year Frank Jr and 14 year old Reese know how to treat me right with with respect,my husband taught them that not to ever harm a woman.My kick boxing sessions every Monday and Wendsday night 6:00 to 7:00 pm have helped too,have been doing this since I was 13 years old after my step dad got me into this.I do have a victims rights lawyer on my side and he said I can come to him talking about my rights as a victim.
