Hi everyone:

I just joined this site. I've been a survivor for nearly five years now (wow.. I can't believe it's been that long). While I'm a member on another board, I'm looking for more support and a place that I can feel safe and at home, while discussing the "issues" of being a survivor.

I hope that place will be here.

Allow me to re-emphasize what everyone else has said so far. I have found this board to be a tremendous help for me while I have been trying to understand and finally come to terms with what I have been through. It's been 7 years for me, and everyone here has been very supportive, friendly, and just plain wonderful. I hope you have the same experiences on this board as I have.
