Hi, my name is Joanne and I'm a 15 year old survivor of sexual abuse at the hands of my piano teacher's now-21-year-old son. I don't even know how I found this site, but it was truly a blessing. I look forward to getting to know some of you.

I am so sorry for what you went through, hun.... That was so wrong, and it's not your fault. I hope you have people around you that support you? That's very important to have, so I hope you do. Here at AfterSilence you will be supported. This is a group of people that truly cares and help each other through rough days, but we can also goof around and have fun if possible. There are more members here your age too. And members way older, like me. :wink: It's good to have you with us, hun, this site truly is amazing.

Hey Joanne,

My names John, and I am 17 years old, so there is only a-few years difference between you and me, :) which is awesome. I am so sorry for what your piano teachers son did to you, it was very very wrong, and please know you did nothing wrong :hug: and that we are here to support you :bighug:
