aphrael Posted June 13, 2007 Share Posted June 13, 2007 Hello everybody, i just wanted to say hi and thank you for letting me on here, and to let you know a bit about me. I'm a 21y.o female, mum of 2 boys, a victim of csa and sa quite a few times. I have been on another site for about a month and while i found it incredibly helpful and supportive i didn't feel there was alot of security to the site as all forums (it combined survivors male and female, and parents partners and loved ones) were open to all. It gave me fantastic insight into partners and families and what they have to deal with but didn't feel very safe for me knowing that ANYbody could read my personal stories, fears, accomplishments etc... From the limited amount i have seen of this sight it already feels comfortable and secure. Aphrael Link to post

We take the safety and comfort of the members very seriously. I had a bad experience at a different survivor board before I found AS as well, it was one that certainly didn't take its members' security seriously. It is so important on a board like this!
