Hi Christy,

I'm pleased you found your way to this forum. I hope it gives you a lot of comfort and support. Don't worry about not talking about what happened to you. Everyone is individual the way they cope with a situation. The most important thing is you take care of yourself and don't feel you've got to push yourself any further than you can cope with.

Just plenty of TLC. I'll send you some wherever you are and wish you all the best.

Take care.

Atlantis

thanks everyone for your support. its been hard trying to get through it all, which im sure you all understand. sometimes i find it so hard to open up about everything because i feel so ashamed. there are days when i just want to curl up in a little ball and hope no one ever finds me. the idea of confronting my past and my deamons just scares me to death. i havent been to therapy, and my parents dont even know about it. but i feel like you can just look at me and its like its written on my forehead. i just dont know how to get up and live enother day. i just know that i cant give up.

I'm sure you will find everyone here can relate to a lot of your feelings and understand what you are going through. The best advice I can give you is to take a minute, an hour, a day at a time. Please don't feel ashamed, the person that committed this criome against you is the only person who should feel that, you are TOTALLY INNOCENT.

I know what you are feeling, that it should be obvious when you say "Look at me, it's written on my forehead". Sadly people seem to miss the obvious signs, just take your time and get some support from here, just don't feel alone. You've found a community of friends here.

Take care of yourself.
