Hi everyone, very glad to have found this space. I am finally ready to open up a little bit about what happened to me.

I am almost 50 years old and my SA and rape, stalking and kidnapping/holding me for ransom happened starting when I was 18. It's taken me 30 years, to get my life back on track. My rapist hijacked my life. He was a prominent leader of a large religious community that I got forced into. A lot of people were involved.

I'm so sorry for what you experienced. It sounds horrendous and so frightening. You didn't deserve what happened to you. I'm glad that you're beginning to heal. We're all here to help...you'll find a lot of very friendly and supportive people here. Wishing you all the best on your healing journey!
