Hi everyone,

I'm here because I'm a survivor. My therapist told me that I could potentially benefit joining a support group, so here I am, breaking my silence after 20+ years. It only took getting married to realized the impact my trauma has had on my life. Look forward to getting involved and healing along side you guys.

Welcome to AS, @Eli01! Nice to meet you. I'm glad you found your way here.  I'm so sorry though for what you've been through...but you're in the right place. I'm glad your therapist suggested finding a support group. I can't explain enough how much AS has helped me. My T also suggested this lovely place to help me heal more.
