Hi there

Hi JustDuckey,

Welcome to AfterSilence. I am very sorry for the experiences that led you here, but I am glad you found us. This is a very supportive community with so many understanding and kind members. You are not alone.

It takes courage to reach out and remember...we've all been that new kid, so we know what that is like. Feel free to look around the site and interact where you feel the most comfortable.

Wishing you the best as you continue down this path, we call healing.

Mary

Hi there, I’m the “new kid.  Happy to find this space.

Hello JustDuckey and welcome on board, I go by Wanna :flowers:

I am glad you joined, every survivor should get the opportunity to find a community. After Silence is a safe place to connect with fellow survivors, venting and sharing (at the pace you choose) and overall receiving support.  Every story is unique, but we tend to relate to each other here. I hope you will feel less alone with your trauma here and get a boost in your healing.

Aside from trauma, you can talk about day to day life too. You might have noticed that we have plenty of different forums, with different themes.

Feel free to reach out, I am just one PM away :supportu:

All best, W ☀️
