hello i'm a newbie

Hello! This is super new to me- I've never really talked to people about my abuse, however I found my way here because I've been feeling very isolated. I want to meet and connect with people who understand me and have been through similar experiences.  So, you can call me J and I'm a survivor of childhood sexual abuse.

I am very sorry you have reason to be here, but you will find tons of support. Our community is filled with understanding and kind members. You are not alone. It's certainly both good and bad that others do know how you feel, as nobody deserves to be hurt like this. It's a big step to reach out, tho, and I'm glad you had the courage to do so. 

Take your time and look around the site. Feel free to post, respond or just read at your own pace. I'm sure you will find this a safe and healing place to be. I wish you the very best as you continue to move forward on this sometimes tricky path of healing.

Welcome to AS, J. It's nice to meet you! I'm glad you found your way here. You're not alone...you'll meet a lot of very friendly and supportive people in this community. I'm so sorry for what you've been through. It was undeserved and not your fault. Being a child, you are so small and helpless...it's just not fair. I'm sorry again for your suffering.
