A little awkward and shy...

...but glad to be here. I'm E. She/They.

I'm here in hopes of finding others who can relate to the things I've been through as well as a supportive place to vent in general when I need it.

Things I like include Jane Lynch, reading, writing, gaming, drawing, coffee, musicals, and cats.

Hi there, herstardusteyes.

Welcome to AfterSilence. I am very sorry for what you've been thru, but you have indeed found a supportive site. Our members are understanding and kind. I believe you will find this a safe and healing place to be.

I thought your photo was of Jane Lynch. I am only familiar with her from Glee, but what a character in that show she was. She really stood out with such a great performance. Dare I say iconic performance?

Anyway, I am glad that you have found us and decided to reach out. Feel free to look about and interact when you are ready. Do know you are not alone.

Wishing you the best as you continue this road we call healing.

Mary

Welcome to AS! I'm glad you found your way here. :) You have an excellent list of things/people you enjoy. I'm also a gamer! What sorts of games do you like to play? As for drawing, we have a section here on the forum for people to share their creativity...so maybe you'll check it out some time and show off your art! We'd be happy to see it. ❤️

I'm sorry for what you've been through that brought you here, but again, I'm so glad you found us. You'll meet a lot of very kind and supportive people here. You are not alone. Best wishes!

@MeBeMary Iconic is an understatement to me but yeah. I've known about her since Glee, too, but I didn't fall in love with her till last September when she started hosting the Weakest Link reboot.

@mini.finch My absolute favorite is Zelda - to the point where I'll even play knockoffs - but I also like Smash and Mario as well as various match-3s and hidden-object games.

@herstardusteyes Awesome! Can't go wrong with Zelda. ❤️ I only recently got a Switch, so I'm a bit behind on the Zelda games. Haven't gotten Breath of the Wild yet, nor did I play Skyward Sword (?), but I really want them...maybe for my birthday. But I loved the older games. Wow, I didn't know there were Zelda knockoffs. That's hilarious. I'm a ps4 gamer, so that's mainly what I stick with. All kinds of games for me. I love too many to even list haha! RPG's, adventures, shooters, etc. etc.
