Hello, I am new here. With this current Corona virus situation I am unable to look into in person group support, and I think I would find that really helpful. I am on my healing journey but it is so hard and confusing, I have came here to receive/ give support in anyway. It seems like a really nice, safe environment. Slightly confused how the site works but trying to figure it out. xx

I am sorry to know that you've had trauma that would lead you here, but I'm glad you are reaching out.  We need each other, especially during these days when are even more isolated.  I'm fairly new to the site as well and still figuring it out, but have found understanding, compassion, shared pain, and wisdom from very brave people.

I am sorry for all that you have been through.   You have been so brave in reaching out to us, please know that this is never easy!   We are all here for you and we want to support you.  You're not alone in your healing journey and are always welcome to lean on us for extra support.  You can post as much or as little as you like.  We are here to support you in the way you need.  I have found this community to be very helpful.  Everyone is so understanding and non-judgmental and I am hoping you feel the same way once you've gotten to know us a little.

Welcome to AfterSilence. I am very sorry for the trauma you have endured and the struggles that you have faced. You are not alone, tho. This community is filled with many understanding and supportive members. The site may look large and confusing at first, but the best advice I would give is look around. Forum headings, for the most part, have a description at the top. When you feel comfortable, feel free to reply or start a new thread. We are here for you. I hope you find as much support as many of us here have found. I wish you many forward steps as you walk down this path of healing.

Welcome to After Silence! I know how hard it is when you're needing support and it seems that you can't get it. Everything is just getting so difficult with the COVID19 situation.
