I just created my account and I didn't really know where to start so I decided to create this topic to introduce myself.

I'm not a native english speaker so I might have some grammatical errors.

I'm a 23 years old man from Panama. I was born in a really religious family, but I guess that doesn't matter when it comes to sexual predators.

I was sexually harrassed and abused during my childhood and adolescence and I wanted to talk about it with someone who has been in a similar situation.

@facc Hello and welcome to After Silence. I am so sorry you were harassed and abused as a child/teen  I’m glad that you found this site though. There are many people who can relate to the abuses you suffered. Actually, I can myself. I was sexually harassed by someone for 2 years in high school. After that, I was attacked by that same person.

Welcome to AS. I'm sorry for the trauma you have dealt with, but I'm glad you found the site and decided to join. This is a safe space and we are all here to support each other. You will find people on this site that have dealt with similar traumas who can help you feel less alone. You can heal from what happened to you. You did not deserved what happened to you and none of it was your fault. You are welcome to post on the forums whenever you feel comfortable. Keep reaching out for support.
