New to the forums

[Captain Jigglypuff]

I am a survivor and I need help healing from all the trauma I’ve had in my life. I’ve been through a lot of horrible things in my life but the one thing I can’t get under control and overcome is my sexual assault. I want to share my own story but I can’t find the right place to do so on this site. You may be wondering where my username came from. I am a huge fan of the Pokémon series and Jigglypuff is my favorite Pokémon. I just chose Captain to be unique and I figured no one else would ever have the same username. I struggle with many things as a result of my assaults and am having trouble coping with feelings of guilt which I will go more into details when I share my story.

Welcome to AS. I'm sorry for the trauma that brought you here, but I'm glad you found the site and decided to join. This site is a safe space and we are all here to support each other. Healing is tough, but it is possible. The process is filled with ups and downs, but you will get through it and over time you will feel more in control. Talking and connecting with other survivors can help in that process and help you to feel less alone. You are welcome to post and share on this site whenever you feel comfortable.
