Hello, I'm new to this. Thought this could be helpful. My therapist wants to diagnose me with PTSD and i don't know how to handle it or cope. In about 8 month I'm going back to college to get my bachelors degree in Marine Biology, which I'm really nervous about. My favorite color is red and black. Also thank you for letting me join. It means a lot.

@littleheartsmile welcome to AS. I think you've stumbled upon a place that can be of much help to you. There are forums here about mental health, inlcuding PTSD info so that may have some advice/ will help you feel less alone in your struggles with your diagnosis.

my name is sam and my favorite color is purple :)

Welcome @littleheartsmile to After Silence.  I’m sorry for what brought you here.  It's understandable to be nervous to get a diagnosis of PTSD.  I hope the diagnosis will be helpful for you.  Perhaps it will provide some clarity.  If you do get an official diagnosis you may be able to get disability accommodations at your university as well.  Good luck with your studies!  I’m happy you are here reaching out for support here.  Good job taking this step in your healing process.  You are not alone and what happened to you wasn’t your fault.  Take your time exploring and post when you are ready.  If you have any questions feel free to message me.
