Hi all,

I stumbled upon this site as I was looking for a safe online community to share stories and hold space for one another. 

In sum, I am struggling with PTSD around childhood sexual abuse that re-surfaced ferociously a couple of years ago. Needless to say it is a disorienting experience. I am seeking connection, support, an outlet, a place to fall apart, any way to feel less alien and alone.

Welcome to AS.  I'm sorry for the experiences in your life that brought you here, but I'm glad you found the site and decided to join.  This is a safe space and no one will judge you here.  We are all here to support each other.  Talking with others who have dealt with similar experiences can be helpful in the healing process.  You will never be alone here and you are welcome to post and share whenever you feel comfortable.  I hope you end up finding this site to be as helpful as I do.

This is absolutely a safe environment for you to feel however you need to feel and to fall apart if you need to. We are all here to help you when you fall down and hug you when you're sad.
