Hi there, I’m new. I’m a survivor and although my most emotionally significant  incident happened over a decade ago I’m still grappling with it. So after a quick search I found After Silence on google. I hope that I can become a supportive member of this online community and find people to talk to about things that are difficult.

I'm sorry for what you have been through.  I find it is easier to talk on forums then out loud.  Being here has helped me so much, even from the first time I ever posted.  It is still helping me - I have so much support here and I know you will, as well.  Here at AS, we are like a big family and our members are kind and non-judgemental.

Welcome to AS. I am very sorry for the experienced you endured and the struggles you still face. You are not alone. It is not always an easy healing journey, but we all have this supportive and understanding community to share with and find understanding. I know how thankful I was when I found this little corner of the web. Take your time and look around and jump in where and when you feel comfortable. I wish you the very best as you walk this path of healing.

Welcome to After Silence! I'm sorry you're still struggling with the incident that happened to you. I know how hard it is to heal, but you've come to a good place to try to find that healing. AS is so supportive and I've made so many good friends here. This is a place I know I can come to when I'm need of support and I'm hoping this becomes a place of solace for you too.

Welcome to AS.  I'm sorry for the trauma in your life that brought you to this site, but I'm glad you found it and decided to join.  This is a safe space and no one will judge you here.  We are all here to support each other. No matter how long ago the trauma happened, your feelings are still valid.  There is no timeline for healing.  It's a process and it takes time.  But you have survived every day thus far and that in and of itself means that you are brave and strong.  I hope you end up finding this this to be as helpful as I do.
