Hi,

I have been away for a long time.  Several years.  Too many things happened in my life.  Among them moving house three times.  By chance i found my password and address to this site.  Exactly when I need it most.  There must be tons of people that I don’t know.  To the old friends I hope someone remembers me.  But if not.  I am happy to be here.  My/safe place and meet people again.  I’m just putting my life together for the first time.

I'm sorry that you've reason to be here and are finding that you need to be here at this point in your recovery -  but am glad that both chance and circumstances have enabled your convenient return to After Silence.  We are happy to have you back.

Whether you reconnect with people you knew previously or you make new connections, you are sure to find the same, unwavering support that this community has always been known to provide.   We are ever-changing but being a safe place remains a constant.

I am glad you found your old account and have come back to find us. I am sorry you need to be here but I'm glad to hear that you feel you are putting your life together again. I hope you will meet new members and reconnect with some old friends.  Like Cap says, AS is always changing,  but there is always someone to listen and support you. I wish you the best as you continue in your healing path.

Welcome back to AS. I am sorry that you are struggling again, but am very happy you remember how supportive this site is. That is one thing that I am sure that hasn't changed since you have been here, I am sure. I only came on in 2015, so I was not fortunate enough to know you back those several years, but glad you are here just the same.   I wish you the very best as you begin this road of healing once again.
