Hesitant Introduction

Recommended Posts

Hello all. I'm a 21 year old female survivor. I've procrastinated joining for a few months but here I finally am. In the past I've had a hard time with online communities, since my story involves mild drug use most of the "help" I received from other forums was focused on that instead of what I was there to get support for. Communication is a very weak point for me but I've decided to find some place I can (hopefully) feel safe and open up a bit more.

Drug use or not, no one has the right to touch you without your express permission.  I hope that you find here what you are looking for ie proper support

Welcome to AS! This is a very safe place. I'm sorry that you've had communication problems in the past. Please don't let that be a barrier for you. You are not alone here in your journey to heal. I am still new and finding my voice and strength. Each person has a slightly different story to tell but can relate to the trauma. In that, you will find a tremendous amount of support here. I wish you well. Safe hugs if ok
