Hello, my name is Shan. I am 32 years old. I am a survivor of almost 10 years of child molestation and rape. I am just in the last 6 months recovering memories. And I am also just recently diagnosed with "DID" Diasociative Identity Disorder. I just got out of the hospital a few days ago. I had already known of "Sami" she is 6 but we "recovered" 3 others. I am pretty raw and scared at this point. I also endured many many years of physical beatings as a child. And then my Mom, my whole world, suicided when I was 16.

I am not sure I belong here. When I think of "Rape" I still think of it as just an adult who was attacked and raped. I don't all the time concider... or can't concider what happened to me as being raped. I was stupid to let it go on. I don't know.

I apologize. This was supposed to be a simple hello.

My username... Silverheart... has a bit of a story behind it. Silver was my cat. She was my heart, my soul, my world. Everything to me. She was there as a babywhen He would come in and perpetrate me. She would sit by my head until he left. She was almost 17 and she had to be put down a couple weeks ago. I am lost. But she was , is and will always be my heart.
