I'm a survivor too and I just found this site.

I have hope that it will help me to write with other people who really understand all what we've been through. 

Wish we met under other circumstances.

Hi FaithfulPhoenix, welcome to AS, you are right it is sad that we all meet under these circumstances but it is nice that there is somewhere we can meet. To know we are not alone and others understand what we are feeling. We are here for you when you are ready to share.

Welcome to AS. I am very sorry for the trauma you experienced. It is never right for someone to hurt you like this. You are already beginning to see what a safe and supportive site this is. Yes, there are too many survivors, but we are better off together than alone. It takes courage to reach out and courage to fight for yourself. I wish you well as you start your healing journey.
