I'm new here, I created my account a few weeks ago but the emptiness and the isolation are unbearable and I do not want to be consumed by it.

Welcome to AS. I am very sorry that you've experienced trauma. Nobody has the right to hurt another this way. You have found a very supportive site and the members are kind and friendly. We never push you to go quicker than you are ready for and you will never be judged. I wasn't savvy with the site at first either (and then they did site overhaul, and had to learn it all a second time), but it is something you will become comfortable with as you look around. I wish you well as you journey on your healing path.

I am also new to the site and I came here because I was feeling very alone too. It is hard to connect and talk with other people who have not been through what we all have. This site has made it easier for me talk about my sexual assault and find some peace of mind. I hope it can do the same for you.
