New and seeking understanding

Hello,

I am new here and to this whole experience of meetings others who have also suffered similar traumas. Though I would wish this type of pain in no one, I am glad to finally find others who are dealing with the same things I am. I am 23 and I have needed to heal for a long time. Here's hoping.

Hi Hiddenstars, Welcome to AS. I agree with you it is sad that anyone has gone through trauma but nice to know that we have a safe place and know we are not alone.

Hi Hiddenstars,

Welcome to AS. I am very sorry that you have experienced trauma, but you have found a very supportive site. Like you, I wish there wasn't a need for a place like this, but since there is, it is nice to have others that are understanding and kind. It's not an easy journey, but with the support that flows thru this site, things do tend to be a little easier. I wish you well as you continue on your healing journey.
