Hi everyone, I am a recent member.

I was attacked (my substitution for word rape as I absolutely despise the term) by a guy I dated a year ago, we were hanging out at his place, he was drinking when he decided that he wanted to change our relationship dynamics, unfortunately he didn't take my opinion into consideration. He was twice my size and I am 4foot short and he 6foot 1 tall so my shoving and pushing didn't really phase him. I haven't considered having any kin of romantic relationship since the incident but its something that eats away at me

Welcome to AS. I'm sorry for the trauma you have suffered, but you will find AS a very supportive site. The members here are very kind and understanding. There are so many different effects to the aftermath, relationship issues is one of them, one that I (and many here) share with you.
