I just joined the forum, and wanted to post a Hello message. Also to ask peoples opinions on which forms of therapy they suggest, and the pros and cons of each.

What has helped me a lot was to find a therapist who specializes in trauma and PTSD.

Hi, I hope you are finding what you are looking for. Look for a therapist who works with ptsd, trama, make sure you feel comfortable with himor her. I know there is tap therapy, rapid eye therapy, cbt therapy to name a few. I hope this helps. :)

I am interested in the balance. If one particular environment is more conducive to open dialogue than the other. With my therapist I feel like they are regurgitating textbook dialog. Without understanding how I actually feel.
