Welcome to AS. I know how you feel.....it can be incredibly difficult to get past the not talking thing, it was for me. But i'm sure you'll find everyone on here very supportive and comforting. It helps just to know that you are not alone.

Just yesterday i had a close friend tell me that it depends on how i look at the sitution. How exactly do you want me to look at the situation.....i was 8 and abused. This is the same friend that told me to just forget about it and move on. I think she was implying that if i looked at it in a postive way.....all would be healed. I could be wrong though.
