  1. Hey @DancingFlamingo! I can really only echo what everyone else has said so far, but really, this is a safe and welcoming environment. I'm so sorry for what you experienced that led you to here, but you will find comfort and support on this forum. Wishing you the best!
  2. I don’t give myself enough credit. Feeling bad, feeling stressed, but feeling like I can make it through anything!

Sending you lots of support! Give yourself all the credit, leaff. You deserve it!

  3. I just want to live a nice, calm, normal life 😕 I want to live with a sense of community and help people when I can. But it’s so hard to just get by in the US.

I'm sorry you are stressed out. Spending time with your significant other should be just what the doctor ordered.

:happybday2: to you and Happy Anniversary to you both!

Hey @ayame, I’m so sorry for what you’re going through, but I’m glad you found this forum. This was my first real step toward healing, there’s a ton of kind and welcoming people on here who listen, and it’s been therapeutic to offer support and try to help others as well. Go at your own pace, and you’re absolutely not alone in this.
  7. Started with a new T, provided through a free service through a local shelter, and she was so nice! And it’s weekly! I seriously can’t believe it!

:yahoo: Seems like some good news! Glad she is nice, and she is willing to work with you on the things that need to be worked on.

      Good luck!

  8. Taking my partner to a doctors appointment and then downstate later for a genetic testing consult 😬 I’m very much hoping today works out.

  10. @Campingalone484 so sorry that you have a reason to be here, but I'm glad you found your way over. I've been on AS only briefly but for the first time in my life I've found a place where I understand people, and I feel like (even if I don't talk much) people understand me. I hope your time here helps your road to recovery, and if/when you feel comfortable sharing your story, I'm sure it'll help at least one person feel a little less alone. Welcome ❤️

    hello,

Thank you so much! It means a lot to me that there's a place like this with people who're so welcoming and sincere. I know I'm just beginning a process, but this seems like a good place to start

    hello,

hopefully this is the right spot for this, I'm in my late 20s but somehow this is the first time I've ever posted on a forum lol. Anyway, hey everybody. I think I’m now fully contending with my diagnosis of complex PTSD, and I’m currently dealing with the worse flare up I’ve had since I was a teenager, though to be honest this feels worse than that. Two fairly big triggers have forced me into the process of acknowledging the effect that the years of abuse had on me and I feel completely and totally lost.
