This is the third time that I've looked up the definition of domestic abuse in less than a year, which is a big red flag and informs the answer to a whether or not I belong here. I'm hoping that joining this community will help me to talk about, understand, and define what I'm experiencing, because I've been confused, paralyzed, and in denial for years. I don't have any friends anymore and I barely speak to my family, so if only one good thing comes out of typing this right now it would be building up a support system and hopefully being able to offer support to others down the line.
