  1. You are very welcome here there isn't a lot that you cannot express on this site. I think it has helped a lot of people. I need this site to connect with other people who are dealing with the same pain as me. People in my world do not understand all that I have been through. Please keep talking, keep sharing, AS can help you get through it. Dawn PM me anytime as well.
  2. Melinda, You sound like a very wise and compasinate women. It sounds like you are doing all the right things. I am sad that the mother is not taking more care in protecting her daugther instead of sheltering her from telling anyone. I hope your grand daughter knows that she can trust you and that she is not alone. That is what you can do for her the most. I don't have any answers but I can sure listen. We all can. You came to the right place. Dawn
  3. Welcome, I am going to have the 14th anniversary of my rape next month and I will tell you the journey has been long and hard, but it is possible to feel like a survivor. 7. Hello everyone, I am new to this site, although not new to being a survivor. My rape occured 13 years ago by three teen age boys. I won't go into detail right now... maybe in a little while. I have come a long way since that time, but I often feel as though I wish someone knew what I was going through. I have become very active in the sexual violence community, speaking out and talking about my life. I was looking for a place that I could relate to others who have been abused. I am looking forward to being in this site and talking with others about their experiences.
