Ran my errands before lunch. Powernaped, took a walk and will now have pizza leftovers. Set my alarm on 5 am tomorrow (yay!), as work starts 7.
I got a text today about a psychologist's appointment tomorrow nobody told me about. You should get notice online or the mail, but guess they got a cancellation and I was up next. But they could at least have warned me. Now I had to cancel last minute and someone else could have used that appointment.
Anyhow, asked my step-dad to scan my grades so I can apply to school.

I am so tired today. This week was intense, and now my body is claiming a day of rest. I am in bed, I took a nap and am watching some Netflix. I am starting work training on Monday, so I better be well rested.

@mini.finch I made a creamy tacos enchiladas while watching the dog. Never made them myself before but turned out pretty nicely. So hungry after over 11.000 steps that day. I took the puppy for a long walk, 1 hour counting 4000+ steps. We went to parks, into a thrift store and through the city. She was so excited. Aside from that, we had several walkies throughout the day since she is a small breed, that needs to wee more often.
I usually avoid mentioning step count to not cause trigger, but this was out of the ordinary for me, so I am trying to paint a picture of that we had many, many walkies 😆

My boss reached out today. Training starts next week and preparing classes starts in about 2 weeks.
I will do my last shift at the thrift store at Thursday, but the boss at the store already handed my reference letter today. He described me as a good addition to the environment. I am allowed to put his number in my resume for recommendations.

Went for a walk with my mum, made some sausage left from the weekend's BQ for lunch. Trying to get through a chapter of Jane Eyre, I generally like to go chapter to chapter but so much is happening!
Today, I got my 10 milligram Fluoxetine, meaning I will do half my ordinary dose now. Everything is being observed by my doctor, no worries.
Wishing a best day! ☀️

Went on the countryside with my parents and brother earlier today, enjoyed nature as step dad did maintenance work on the family summer cabin. Cleaned my room. Showered, did face and hair mask, peeling and moisturizing.
Watching a movie and will make veggie tacos for dinner. Hope you had a wonderful day! Or at least something nice for yourself. ☀️

Back home from a 4-hour shift at the thrift store. I like it so much, I asked if they would want me back for the fall. They cannot pay me, but I use it as a reference, I learn a lot as we have different things coming in and you need to figure out a place, prize and category for every item. I mostly stay in the check out or help them organize in the store. I did much of the behind the scenes-jobs at the other thrift store last year, being in the back and sorting stuff out, so this is something else.
Am now making dinner. Mum and step-father went to his mother's funeral. I was invited but declined as the only people I really share the grief with are my parents. The others are mostly nice but strangers to me, you know?

Went to my friend's yesterday to celebrate that she passed an academic report with honors. It was just us and her dog, having a good ole' girls night. I stayed the night, and then went home. Colored, listened to true crime and went napping. Took a shower, am doing a facial with peeling and a deep cleansing mask. Am a bit stressed because I cannot get a hold of my potential boss, but she said the job was mine just last week, so will try to call her again on Monday. Fingers crossed.

Sitting in my oversize t-shirt, with my hair tied up in a messy bun, under my clean sheets in bed. I have made popcorn and shared our last bottle must with mum. Must is a Swedish soda that you find in stores for Christmas and Eastern. I think you'd grow tired of it if you drank it like coke, but since it's so occasional it makes your day feel special.

Packed up some today, I found furniture at home so no need to buy the pieces I was missing. My mum studied late and watched a TV show to clear her mind, me and step father joined her and we had some family time before everybody went to bed. I will be having another shift at the thrift store tomorrow.

Spent the day volunteering at the thrift store and ran some errands. Walk there and back home. My mum backed almond buns. We are heading to my campus tomorrow, about a 5 hour drive, to collect my stuff and clean out the apartment. A bit sad, I loved the city, but my current city will do. I know I am doing what I need to.

Went for a walk with my mum, had lunch and am now treating myself to some ice cream. Spring is here, nature is transforming into the blossoming season. I did some laundry this morning and took a nice shower followed by a skin care routine.

I woke up last night with a headache piercing through my right eye. I got up and helped myself to some pain killers, then slept relatively well. I spent the morning doing chores and reading. My parents don't really demand my services, but I know they have their hands full, so I like to contribute. My mum has her exam and my step dad is dealing with the arrangements after his mother's passing.
I am working my way through Jane Eyre. I am trying to reclaim reading, not connecting it to achievement but pure delight. Mr Rochester went on about some life philosophy I struggled to comprehend, but it seems like Jane shared that battle with me.

They hired me for the summer.

Tired most of the time.
I will do my first shift at the thrift shop tomorrow. No pay, but they will give me a reference when I am done. I am aiming to go there 4 hours a week until summer classes starts. I am trying to make myself useful at home, and I have picked up a habit of walking people's dogs.
This is all I can manage for now. The hospital will reach out with an appointment ASAP.

Went out to lunch with a girlfriend. Came home, cleaned a bit and cooked dinner for my parents. I was too full from the buffet to have dinner, but there will be left overs for days. Step dad and mum praised my recipe, but me and step dad discussed some details for the next time. Like cooking the chicken before rinsing it, having the mushrooms in later since they shrink etc.

I showered, made my bed and had tea and half an apple. Gave the other half to my hard-studying mummy. Slept bad again, but rested 2,5 hours this morning. No podcast, no Netflix. Just under my sheets, eyes closed.

@Pink Sky Nope, she and step daddy are very happy to have me.

Me and my mum had a day together, as step dad is taking care of his mother today.
We played a board game, baked together, went for a walk and have chatted. It was a beautiful day. I wouldn't trade my mother for any other mummy in the world.

Big day today! I'll tattoo an image of young John Lennon on my back. A bit random I know, but he was a big part of my childhood and I just find comfort in him.

@Field8 April fools! 😛

I have booked my ticked back to my apartment, and will start packing this week. Step granny is doing poorly, so my parents felt like we wanted to get this overwith ASAP.
I have cancelled my classes, my student allowances and will email my land lord tomorrow.
My parents and I are planning to replace my bedroom furniture with my dorm furniture, making this into a young adult's cave. I am just waiting to get accepted for online classes this fall. I will probably take a little gap between April and June. I have applied to summer school.
-
@Pink Sky My mum is taking online classes, but between studying her and me are planning some quality time. We have taken walks and played board games together. My step father works from home right now too, so I guess I'll make the best, consider my options and will just settle with my family. Thank you so much for your support!

I am back home with my parents. They are taking care of me, telling me I am invited to stay for how long I want to.

It is past 2 AM here and I want to sleep, but I am nauseous. I saw last minute that my church does a collection of donations for Ukraine tomorrow. The're packing a bus full that's headed down to the war. It is funny how we horde stuff that we don't even need/remember, right? I have cleansed out 2 big bags of stuff that I hardly use. I have selected out clothes and some hygiene products, including period pads. I have a big stock of pads at home, keeping me good for months, and as I packed them down I realized what I take for granted. To have pads when I have my period...
Found some soap and body lotion to donate as well, and some hair bands. If somebody sneaked in here and stole this stuff it would have taken me days or even weeks to notice. And yet that could change somebody's life right now. War sure gives you perspective. It is crazy... and Russia is so close. Ugh. You can feel like a good person doing this, then you realize you pray that somebody does this if you are in need. Because so many people, who were good and unselfish, had their lives destroyed by a handful political leaders... The night and war makes you think.

Went to class today, got home, had lunch, cleaned up and did the dishes and baked. I am stuffed, so good cakes though!
-
@mini.finch Oh how do you say in English? Raw baked chocolate cake?
-
@mini.finch Apparently some say mud cake. I make it more like a pudding, just 8 minutes in 200 Celsius (I'll leave you Americans to do the math haha), and then dig in with a spoon.
