Today I tried peanut butter and jelly oat meal. I have my oat meal with sunflower corns and pumpkin corns, mixed with raisins. Today, I added a spoon of peanut butter and some jelly since I don't fancy bread right now. It was good!

That's awesome! I love Oatmeal! I lived for a few months at a Buddhist monastery (in the USA) and we used to have oatmeal every morning, and my favorite combo: adding crunchy peanut butter warmed berries (from frozen) or plum sauce (basically applesauce but made with plums), a healthy scoop of plain yogurt, a little brown sugar and... a dash of soy sauce! The soy sauce is just to add salt and it distributes well into the oatmeal rather than salt granules, but it's literally a "dash" so you don't taste it. It's also great because if you cook the oats with the salt in it makes them gluey, so if you reserve the salt until after it's cooked the texture is way better. Ok, end of silly unsolicited oatmeal rant, your oatmeal choices sound delicious!

I made apple salad with sunflower corns, raisins and cinnamon. I had that with pancakes and honey. Worth a try, folks!

@mini.finch another tip, mix down peanut butter in your oatmeal. Even better, with bananas as well. It gets like a dessert, but it's very nutritious.

I just cured my headache with ginger bread and berry tea. Hope you'll have a nice day/night

@snmls Thank you! 🍵

@mini.finch I come from a family with a trend of headaches. I was on my way all day, so I probably had low blood sugar. Are you stressed? A shower could do. I direct the shower yet on my neck to reduce tension. Black tea is also something, and I don't know why, but licorice weirdly helps me.
Hope you're better!

Work interview went great today. Now I'll just hope they'll take me in for training.

@ActivistAlly @mini.finch @MeBeMary You guys make me happy. I will get back to uni in the fall, as I am already guaranteed a spot, but I figured doing some shifts and getting some extra money won't hurt. Y'all have a best day!

My roommate works two jobs and takes classes. I am living off my parents while trying to get better. Uni gave me resignation due to my current mental issues. I am seeing professional help. My mum and stepdad both say that I am not exaggerating, that they are happily helping me out. I just feel tired, worn out and unproductive at the same time

@snmls thank you! I know deep down that I need this. I sleep more in general, and can only take like 2 things a day, and then still end up tired in the afternoon. My mum and stepdad are very understanding. Sending safe hugs if ok?

The uni is holding my registration for the next fall! Meaning I can take a break and keep my registration.

@MeBeMary Yes. I have applied to single courses for spring, so I will have something to do whilst processing my trauma with professional help.

I had a struggle last week, where my application for postponing my studies at uni was denied. My psychologist had forgotten to sign my attestation for severe anxiety issues, which was required by the administration. Luckily, a signed version came with the mail today. Now I just hope, my symptoms described will be enough. Marry Christmas everyone!

You?

My psychologist checked me for PTSD and depression today. Since I can sense joyfulness and am not having severe flashbacks, he wrote those possibilities off. He wants to see me again next week, so hopefully we'll find a conclusion to what I can do. I am just a bit scared, that I would be considered too well, because I am not sure how I will manage on my own.

@BrightSide I am being as honest as possible, but apparently (according to the psychologist) you feel sad about everything when depressed. I might not agree, but that is what was required for a clinical diagnosis according to him.
We'll see, thanks for encouraging me!

@Free2Fly Feel better

I called the clinic again, and they offered me to come in tomorrow at 9. I am so grateful right now.

@MeBeMary Thank you, I just had it. We'll meet again next week.

My psychologist decided to move our appointment two weeks earlier since he considered my condition being critical enough. Although I have exams that day, but we could meed about one week earlier. At least he takes me seriously then. I am hanging in there, just wondering how to manage this concept we call "life". It's a tricky business.
TW: Anxiety
Tried to study, but my brain released adrenaline which affected my vision. I however am planning on some studying after dinner.

@Enigma87 Of course, I'd like that
Things just tend to be nothing or everything to me, it seems. Sometimes I am cheerful and feel like life is just out there to be explored, other days I am just meh. But at least I have a professional for that soon. ❤️

@MeBeMary Thank you. My brain just kind of decides "it's all or nothing", so either I am fine or I kind of fall a bit. Will try to make this day productive. I wish you a wonderful Friday.

So I did at least a couple of calculation assignments today. I did not attend full classes because of anxiety attacks, and a nurse at my clinic advice me to go to the ER if I consider my situation unbearable. My session has been moved to 2 weeks earlier, at the same day as my exam, but I have asked my supervising teacher if I could do it another time.
-
I am not sure if I did well today or not.
I didn't attend many classes. I tried one this morning, but ended up with an anxiety attack and laid down to do some breathing exercises. Then I had lunch, another class, but got interrupted because the clinic called, so I could get an appointment ASAP with an psychologist. Then I went on a walk, came back, sat a full class.
Then, I had dinner, exercised, cleaned the bathroom and talked to a friend for almost an hour. Now I sit here with some homework again at 11 pm. I think I wasn't much of a student today... but at least I tried...

@snmlsYes, I guess accepting comes before coping, right?

So I signed and posted my rental contract and student allowance contracts today. I have been doubting this happening to me so many times, but now I am planning a move, have bought the decorations for my dormitory and will order for the books on my syllabus. I will spend August in a new city, playing the tourist for awhile.

@Charlie.1 Feels really good, last year was mostly about getting over the investigation and open rehab, so this feels fresh in several ways
