My daughter, my rooster.

Rotflmao!!! I’m glad you and J weren’t poisoned and your kitchen survived. ; ) Gotta love kids. Sometimes, you even have to love kids more than sleep. -
“Nothing is impossible, the word itself says 'I'm possible'!” -Audrey Hepburn (my fave ) ”Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.“ -Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. “Lord, make me an instrument of thy peace. Where there is hatred, let me sow love.” -Francis of Assisi ”No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted.” -Aesop ”The only true wisdom is in knowing you know nothing.” -Socrates ”Everything has beauty, but not everyone sees it.” -Confucius

Welcome to AS, Cmerlotts. You’re definitely not alone, and you’re most definitely not a freak. I’m glad you’re here, although I’m sorry for the reason that brought you here. best, onwheels

Hi PhoenixEmber, Welcome to AS! I’m sorry you have to be here, but glad you came. You’re not alone and you’re not invisible. You’re important! I understand being scared to post here (I often still am), but everyone is very supportive. Best, onwheels

Capulet, Feeding the cat beef jerky had me laughing out loud! Also, I love the way you refer to your ex. Your wasband’s expression seems quite similar to the one my father wears.... I hope it stops raining and you get your concrete poured and yard decorated. best, onwheels -
Thank you Oneinamillion and Ghostly Lilian. I’ve heard good things about The Art of Racing in the Rain . I’m glad you liked it too. I currently have two books going: A People’ History of the United States by Howard Zin is a much less white-washed American history book. I take it to all my doctor appointments and when I get time to read outside. The other is an Agatha Christie mystery, The Labors of Hercules . I hope you have a good week. Take good care. ~OnWheels

Thank you Silentg, Mary, Struggling88, Elisand, and Fallenstar for the warm welcome. It brought tears to my eyes knowing that someone else cared enough to read. Safe hugs are good and back. I hope you are all doing ok today.

Hi. I have been trying to get up the courage to post this for the last couple weeks. (Ir’s easy to reply to a word game, easier to reply to a post, and really hard for me to start a new post.) I’m not supposed to talk about it, but I can say I got hurt for a long time. I’m really struggling with it and with PTSD Other things about me: I love to read. I’m really interested in social justice and human rights. I love animals (though I’m very allergic to them). I live in the USA. thank you for reading. Take gentle care of yourselves. ~OnWheels
