Pocket riders needed for tomorrow. Attending a family gathering and there will be in attendance some family members I do NOT wish to see.
Oh, and Lucy? Pencil me in for Sunday, please!!!
-
Mid-night check-in. How's everyone doing this evening?
-
All right. I need a hug. Or two. Or two hundred...

It's pretty amazing how even after so much elapsed time, things STILL remain ingrained into you.
Blog forthcoming, soon as I can figure out how to best explain today's epiphany.

How are my favorite people (yes, all of YOU!) doing today? ❤️

It's nice to hear from you, @Free2Fly!!! ❤️ I'm sorry you're not doing so great these days. I am always thinking of you and hoping you're healthy and safe. Thank you for the hugs, sending some back your way, if you'll have 'em!

Thank you @Capulet, I appreciate it friend recently health has been a issue it's been pretty all over the place most of my family have been vaccinated while 3 of us haven't cause of a government mess up.
Over than that mentally I've been up and down too mostly down apart from discovering potential other issues.
But yeah I hope the weather hasn't effected your town like the rest, the Canadians could at least send you some maple syrup with the snow they give you guys in America .
But yeah hope is well with everyone on here.

@LuthienTinuviel - hugs always welcome! And I hope so, too...
It just seems that so many of us are struggling in so many different ways right now - this highly optimistic, yet powerful statement, I believe, is safe to hold onto as we all work at figuring out what's next for each of us. Hang in there, friend.

Our boy has stopped eating and has showed that he is unable to continue the fight. He has been a true warrior and has hung on for a month following losing function of his hind legs - and someone wise did say that extra time he gave us was truly a gift. But - he's now telling us he is exhausted and we've had to make the most heartbreaking decision we've ever thought possible - our sweet Dexter will be making his way over the Rainbow Bridge tomorrow. I am absolutely devastated. Pocket riders appreciated for the next 24 hours as we prepare to say goodbye to the most lovable and faithful fur-baby we've ever had.

So, this happened!
Introducing the newest member of the Capulet family. Say hello to Apollo!
He's such a good boy. We're so in love. 😍He's making himself at home and keeping me covered in doggy kisses and lots of cuddles!
My heart is happy. ❤️

Hi @Kmkz, @Free2Fly, @MeBeMary, @Field8, @Hoping8
THANK YOU guys for your kind words and messages and for sitting with me last night.
I do NOT ask for help often. I'm not used to doing so. In the past, I was taught and 'conditioned' to deal with my emotions and moods differently. Whenever I feel these 'emotional overloads,' this (untrue) feeling of sharing being equivalent to showing weakness kicks in and I am usually quicker/more likely to suck it up and let it sit and fester instead. But this is not happening anymore; part of my personal growth process is to (slowly) learn to allow others to be able to offer comfort, advice or support when needed. More often than not, healing is a grueling uphill battle, and it's too easy to forget that there are others who are on that same hike. Slowly, I am discovering the benefits of allowing others to stand behind me and give that encouraging push here and there - I WILL keep climbing and I WILL make it to the top of this hill, eventually.
I'd also like to shout out to a couple of others not listed here who also took the time out of their evening to reach out and talk to me. You guys have NO idea how much it helped to know that you were there. Thank you, too.
I'm feeling a little less unsettled and more coherent today. I did manage to sleep for a little while, too, so the headache has lessened although it's not completely gone, yet. I'm going to respond to a couple of PMs, soak in the bath and will be back later.
Love,
Cap

Continued good vibes needed, please, for our cat, who has lost all function of his hind legs and is unable to walk. Still, he is a fighter and has been surprising us day after day with his strength and will to keep going. Although his prognosis is not good, he is calling all the shots, and he's not finished, yet. He is looking especially handsome today, so both he and his Mama are accepting hugs and positivity!
