  14. My "assignment" for my next therapy session is to write down exactly what happened in full detail. I don't even know where to start.

      Writing it all down can be very liberating. I typed out my whole story for my T to read about a year ago.  It's definitely overwhelming to sit down and let everything come out, but for me at least once I started writing, I couldn't stop.  Everything just poured out.  Remember, that all you have to do is write it, you don't have to read it.  I never read what I wrote, even to edit it.  

      Be kind to yourself as you write.

      Thanks so much @snmls My therapist actually wants me to read it aloud to myself. I can't even begin to imagine how I'll react if/when I do. I'm really glad it was liberating for you. I really hope it's the same way for me.
