Hi raincity Firstly, I am really sorry you are going through this at the minute however it is a positive that your sister felt able to disclose her story to you. It took me over 9 years to be able to tell my family. This was the hardest thing for me, I guess I wanted to protect them from the truth but looking back now I know I made wrong decisions. Hi Laura, Like you I am new to the site and a bit unsure of what to say and do and also like you I have no one to talk to about any of this, which gets very dark and lonely at times. I hope we can all help each other even if it is baby steps, I really want to become normal again.

Hello everyone, I am a new member and have to admit I'm not really sure what I should be doing and saying right now. I have never done anything like this before yet already I have read many comforting words.

I'm really sorry you are feeling this way, I know how horrible it is and how it can effect everyday life. I am new to this site, in fact I have never done anything like this before and I can't tell you how encouraging it was to read your post, I thought I was just weird, that something was wrong with me. To know someone else feels exactly the same is somehow comforting.

I understand every word for I feel exactly the same and have done for a very long time, I don't know how to change it.
