The first post is hard I have only been here for about three months and have found it very helpful to know I'm not alone and neither are you just take your time and read what others have to say we are all here for the same reason the trauma may be different but the difficulty of dealing with it and the feelings are the same hope you find the support you need

Welcome to AS sorry for the things you've been through I can relate I'm 40 and also had blocked everything out until something happened and brought it all back and it would no longer stay in the bottle I have 4 sons if someone hurt them the way I was all I can say is they better hope the police get them before I do just don't understand how someone could hurt an innocent child or not do anything to help the child recover

Not sure we're to start. I've spent most of my 40 years living in shame because of the things I've experienced and the fear of someone finding out about the secrets I've kept. I want to overcome all this and to be able to feel again.
